Dundee Library's service area is the same
as that covered by the Dundee Central School District, with a population
of 6,188.
The local community supports the library
through the towns of Barrington, Milo, Reading, Starkey, and Tyrone, as
well as the village of Dundee. Local voters decide on a library
proposition at the annual school district vote in May.
Volunteers are vital! Throughout its
100-year history, the Dundee Library has been supported and governed by
the founding Study Club. The Friends of the Library group formed in
1971. A nine-member board of trustees includes community residents.
