AskART: American Artists	Over 25,000 North American painters, sculptors, and illustrators are listed in this searchable resource. Included are digital images of the artists' work as well as auction data, brief biographies, book references, and periodical citations.
Biographical Dictionary of the U.S. Congress, 1774-present	Biographical information for all individuals who have served in the United States Congress and the Continental Congress. Biographies are also included for persons who have served as delegates to Congress from the territories of the United States.
Biographies of the Founding Fathers	An ongoing project to put the biographies of the founding fathers on the Web. These are divided into three categories: Signers of the Declaration, Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution.

Distinguished Women of Past & Present	Biographical information collected from sources all over the Internet, supplemented with excerpts from Microsoft's Encarta encyclopedia.
InfoPlease: Biographies	Over 30,000 biographies of historical and contemporary figures. Search by name or category. Information varies from minimal to detailed.
Lives, the Biography Resource	Extensive, annotated directory of links to sites that focus on the lives of individuals or groups of people. The site is searchable.
Presidents of the United States	Entries include a portrait, vital statistics, election results, cabinet members, presidency highlights, trivia, and links to relevant Internet resources. Maintained by the Internet Public Library.
Who2: Find Famous People Fast	"Classic authors, movie stars, famous frauds, kings and queens, mythical gods, cartoon dogs--anyone famous is fair game for Who2." Each entry includes birth and death dates, birthplace, what the person is best known for, a couple of paragraphs with assorted other biographical information, and four links to good Web sites.
