| Mission | The Rushford Free Library, a member of the Southern Tier Library System, serves a population of approximately 1,200 in the town of Rushford, NY. We have 1,620 registered patrons, resulting in approximately 6,100 patron visits per year. We have a 9-member Board of Trustees that meets once each month. We have a Library Director and an Assistant Librarian as well as other backup assistants which are called upon as needed. During 1997, we received a certificate naming us an "Electronic Doorway Library" by the Board of Regents, the New York State Education Department and the New York State Library Association. | |
