Family Village is a great site that contains so much information about issues of interest to caregivers. Includes such topics as adaptive products, general information about specific diagnoses, education, recreation, health, etc.
Collaborative of the Finger Lakes which includes Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Yates ARC's. Has great links to other resources for services for the developmentally disabled.
CODI serves as a community resource by providing disability information and directories in the areas of legal assistance, travel, NY state resources, assistive technology, etc.

Palaestra is an on-line magazine of sport, physical education, and recreation for those with disabilities
Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped website based in Buffalo. Contains information about setting up your own chapter, special events, and links to other areas of interest.
Handicapped Scuba Association homepage. Includes trips to exotic locales and an education program to teach and certify people with special needs.
The American Camping Association website that includes a database where you can search for a camp to meet your child's (or adult's) needs. You can also use this database to see if a camp you are considering is accredited by ACA.
Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort is located in Steuben County and provides  Get-a-way Retreats for families with members with special needs.
Freedom Rider has resources for the physically challenged horseback rider.  The website also has a great list of links and information about therapeutic riding programs.
Rights The Disability Rights Activist site provides much information in a newsletter format about the rights of disabled people. Also provides numerous links.
Self Care/ADL'S Wisent Health Care Products has a full line of healthcare products including dressing aids, items to assist with eating and food preparation, wheelchair accessories, hygiene and bath items, etc.
