Dreamland

by Trevor Worthey

I go to sleep,
Not realizing
What wonders wait
For me in a land
Not inhabited by men,
But by minds of men
Dreamland, when I sleep,
Holds experiences
Unfathomable by waking minds
I explore Dreamland
With caution, at first
I dream about love,
Of faith
Now about humor
Scary dreams, funny dreams
Dreams unexplainable
By the physical mind,
Yet perfectly sensible
To the mental side
Waking I get
Out of bed
Not remembering
My experience in
Dreamland
