Learn Microsoft Word

No classes are offered at this time.

Microsoft Word is a powerful yet easy to use word processing software that can do many remarkable things.  Come learn how to write letters, term papers, etc, make posters, use tables...

This is considered an intermediate skill course.  If you don't know anything about using a computer, we recommend taking our Novice class first.

You can sign up for any or all of the courses.  Due to limited class size, pre-registration is a must.  Call the library at 243-5938 or email the course instructor here.  If you sign up for a class and find you are unable to attend, please call to let us know, so that others can fill your spot.

  Formatting Word Documents

This class will cover setting margins and tabs, using Headers and Footers, indents, bulleted or numbered lists, and changing font, font size, font color, font style, and alignment.

Intermediate and Advanced Users: FrontPage

You can pay a professional design firm thousands of dollars to create and maintain your business website, or, you can take our course and learn how to do it yourself.  Templates make it a snap, but designing your own from scratch isn't all that difficult either.  And because it's a Microsoft product, it coordinates perfectly with Publisher templates to create a consistent look for your business.

This is considered an advanced skill course.  If you don't know anything about using a computer, this is not the class to start with.  It's also important that you have comfortable familiarity with Microsoft Word.

You can sign up for any or all of the courses.  Due to limited class size, pre-registration is a must.   Call the library at 243-5938 or email the course instructor here.  If you sign up for a class and find you are unable to attend, please call to let us know, so that others can fill your spot.
