The connection speed calculated here is based upon the size of the image
above, divided by the time difference between when the image was requested and
when the image was finished downloading. This method of determination is
inherently empirical, since there will often be other factors at work here.
(Did the user check their email during the download of the page? Are they
downloading a 10MB file in the background?)
