IT: Recommended Updates/Instructions
Please follow the instructions below to help ensure a successful installation of the updates. Contact IT staff if you have further questions.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 Instructions
To begin the installation, on the Updates page click on "Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0". When asked "save file" or "open from current location" select open from current location, and click ok.
Please make sure there are no open programs (Outlook, MS Word, etc.) running on your computer when the setup program is running.
In a few moments a setup program will run on your computer. This setup program is fully automated and will restart your computer when it is finished.
After the computer has restarted, open Internet Explorer to verify functionality and then go to the help menu on the tool bar and click on about. This will open a window displaying information about Internet Explorer, please make sure the version is 6.0 or higher.
Microsoft Windows Update Installer Instructions
The Update Installer is a program that facilitates installations of Microsoft updates.
To begin the installation, on the Updates page click on "Microsoft Windows Update Installer". When asked "save file" or "open from current location" select open from current location, and click ok.
This program is fully automated and will install the program then bring up a dialog box verifying the installation. Click ok to continue and finish the setup.
