STLS is a sub-lending agencyof the New York State Talking Book and Braille Library that provides free audio players and audio books and magazines to persons unable to read due to visual or physical disabilities. Persons who are blind, have had a stroke, are recovering from eye surgery, have a palsy that makes holding a book impossible, etc. are eligible to register for this service. Registered patrons may return broken machines to STLS through their local library for replacement with a working machine.
