There is so much to be said for these programs! Library literature calls ’em many things (passive, unprogramming, stealth) but, in the end, they are programs that involve library patrons. are flexible in time frame, encourage use of library materials and services, all  without a lot to staff time and  without a lot of financial resources.  http://tinytipsforlibraryfun.blogspot.com/2015/09/check-it-out.html lists CHECK IT OUT clubs (reading clubs) that are hosted during ‘slow’ times at their library.
