Library Assistant to the Director – Almond 20th Century Club Library, Almond, NY
The Almond 20th Century Club Library is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and innovative individual for the part-time position of Library Assistant to the Director.
The Assistant will be directed by the Library Director to help with the daily duties of Library management such as: Shelving, sorting, holds, labeling, helping patrons, setting up programs, working with children’s programs, facility management and assuming charge when the Director has to be absent.

IT Systems & Network Specialist – Southern Tier Library System
The Southern Tier Library System, in Painted Post, NY, is adding a full time IT professional to our team. We provide innovative information technology solutions to public libraries, so a candidate with a strong desire to learn new skills and develop them into helpful services is the perfect fit.
General Statement of Duties
The IT Systems & Network Specialist performs professional duties to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Integrated Library System (ILS), supporting servers, clients, LANs, WANs, and Information Technology related projects.
Salary range is $41,000 – $45,000 for this 37.5 hour per week position, and is commensurate with experience. New York State Retirement & Empire Health Plan. Paid vacation, sick, personal and holidays based on organizational contract.

Youth Services Coordinator – Cuba Circulating Library, Cuba NY
The Cuba Circulating Library, a member of the Southern Tier Library System, in Cuba, New York is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Youth Services Coordinator.
Wages are commensurate with experience.
The Youth Services Coordinator (YSC) is a part-time position, working 25-32 hours per week,
arranging and facilitating programming for children and teens in a very active library. Customer service to our children and their caregivers is a vital component of this position.
The YSC plans and teaches weekly story hours and arranges for and hosts youth and family programs. This person must have knowledge of, and experience with, children and children’s literature. The YSC manages (reviewing, selecting, ordering, weeding and maintaining) the children’s book and multi-media collection. This position also requires a familiarity with computers, social media, gaming, and the many activities that might be possible or enhanced using today’s technology. The YSC works on assigned projects to promote interactive, creative, educational experiences for the public, and performs related duties as assigned by the Library Director.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Studies, Education, Library Science or a related field and have experience working with youth ages birth- 18.
