The Southern Tier Library System has a number of items available for member libraries to check out and use in library programming. These items are intended to help facilitate programming in all our member libraries. Storytime Sets are designed for parents and children, in a storytime setting, to share a book together. Using Storytime Sets, your library can help parents lay a great foundation of pre-literacy skills.
Sets include 11 copies of one board book title (1 copy for the storytime leader to read aloud, 10 copies to pass out to caregivers to share with children), a folder with information for library staff and materials to copy and share with caregivers, and a plastic storage box.

STLS has a variety of puppets for member libraries to use in programs. From frogs to bunnies to hermit crabs, check us out for puppet fun!
Makey Makey – kit comes with two Makey Makeys, Folder with tips and information for library staff, and two books about using Makey Makeys.
Ozobot Kit- Includes Ozobots, small smart toy robots that empower gamers and learners to code, play, create and connect the physical and digital worlds, also contains tips and information for library staff.
Strawbees Kit- a simple maker kit which allows you to connect straws to each other and build small to large mechanical objects.
Magformers – Set of magnetic construction shapes which allow users to build and create. Can be used on magnet boards, magnet tables, or on their own!
