About 50 people, including representatives from the Postal Service in Buffalo and local politicians, turned to cut the ribbon for the first library in New York State to offer support for postal services. Library Director Brenda Yeoman, third from left, said “The library will sell stamps, receive prepaid packages for mailing, and have on hand the "if it fits, it ships" boxes for mailing items. Our local Post Office has been reduced to 4 hours a day, so our ability to supplement their services will be a great benefit to the community especially as we share a building.”
